Peter Huber has more than 25 years of global experience in corporate finance with a unique combination of CFO role, consulting and banking. After graduating in Business Administration at the University of Zurich, he started his professional career in commercial banking at UBS. As client advisor he got a solid background in financing and acquired fundamental skills in customer relationship management and financial analysis which he further developed during his time as consultant for KPMG where he had a focus on M&A transactions including integration and multi-disciplinary projects in the area of corporate finance and restructuring.
After 10 years in banking and consulting and a post-graduate degree as Executive Master in Corporate Finance, he moved into the role as Group CFO with global responsibility for the whole range of financial management and IT, later supplemented by compliance. In addition to his C-level function, he had the opportunity to represent headquarters as board member in subsidiaries around the world (among other countries in China, Japan, India, the US, Brazil, Israel, Germany, France, the UK, Italy and Romania) and to lead a variety of challenging projects in different company situations enabling him to grow as a leader and expert in corporate finance, M&A, compliance and pension fund.
In this role, he has enjoyed a high acceptance and credibility from shareholders, board of directors, management colleagues, direct reports and team members as well as other internal and external stakeholders. He got buy-in from different ownership categories ranging from a listed company over family and private equity owners to a foreign industrial investor. As a bridge builder in a cross-departmental and cross-location context, he has enabled a smooth collaboration between different cultures around the globe.
